What Dial Is Really For

When people hear Dial is wallet-native communication, they pattern-match it to 'crypto Zoom' and move on. That misses what it's actually for.
The best creating happens in real conversation — the room where the half-formed thing gets challenged, sharpened, co-built. But conversation at scale has a problem: the more open the room, the lower the signal. Open DMs become noise. Gated rooms become cliques. Neither is where good work gets made.
Dial is an attempt to fix the economics of access. When access can be verified and programmable, you can build rooms where being there means something — where the cost of entry is intention, not just a link someone forwarded. Calls, video, and rooms where the people present actually showed up on purpose.
Access should be earned and intentional, not just available.
